The territory of Tanzania is very desert, while in the mountains the vegetation has tropical characteristics, with optimal conditions for the cultivation of coffee. This coffee of Robusta quality, also known as the Kilimanjaro coffee, is mostly worked in wet soil: the coffee plantations are accompanied by shade plants typical of the wooded vegetation or by useful plants such as the banana trees that with their leaves protect coffee plants from the sun. This single origin has a strong body and a delicate acidity with an aftertaste of raw honey, with dark cream and golden reflections.
